VISIT THE PET FOOD BANK
Our Pet Food Bank is available to community members on a walk-in basis. When you come to pick up food, please bring a photo ID. You can get food from the Pet Food Bank once every 30 days, as we often run low.
Please continue to check our website to find out if the food bank is open or closed. When we run out of food, we don't want anyone to make a trip all the way to us only to find out we're empty. If you're unsure, you can give us a call at (770) 593-1155.
Available through the Pet Food Bank:
- dry cat food
- wet (canned) cat food
- dry dog food
- wet (canned) dog food
*At times, we may be out of certain types of food. The Pet Food Bank is stocked with donations, so we're only able to provide what has been give to us.
*We reserve the right to refuse food to anyone who is participating in backyard breeding. Our Food Pantry aims to keep pets in loving homes and out of shelters, and irresponsible breeding is one of the biggest reasons that shelters continue to be overcrowded.
HELP US STOCK OUR PET FOOD BANK
Part of caring for the animals in our community is caring for their owners. When people face situations of economic hardship, it can be difficult to keep up with the costs of owning a pet. Providing pet food to families in need can prevent the heartbreaking surrender of a beloved dog or cat to already overcrowded shelters. We aim to keep people and pets together, and our Pet Food Bank is vital to accomplishing that mission.
While we always prioritize caring for the animals in our care, we also want to equip existing pet owners with the supplies they need. If you are able to assist in stocking our food bank, your generosity would be greatly appreciated. Any brand of cat or dog food is accepted, as long as the bag is unopened. Donations can be dropped off in person in our covered donation bin by our front gate or shipped to 5287 Covington Hwy, Decatur, GA 30035.
