PAWS Atlanta is a 501c3 organization and receives no federal, state or county financial support. The organization is entirely dependent on fundraisers, grants and donations. If you need our 501c3 number for matching funds requests or estate planning please email, ed@pawsatlanta.org.
Memberships to PAWS Atlanta
If you are a member of PAWS Atlanta then you are the backbone of our support to thousands of animals each year. There are different levels of membership, with each level achieving a set amount of care.

Best Friend, $25. The Best Friend level membership provides a pet for 30 days of food and lodging.

Bronze Paw, $50. The Bronze Paw membership provides a pet for 30 days of food and lodging, and a heartworm test.

Silver Paw, $100. The Silver Paw provides a pet 30 days of food and lodging, first series of vaccinations, flea treatment and de worming.

Gold Paw, $250. The Gold Paw provides a pet 30 days of food and lodging, all vaccinations, spaying/neutering, flea treatment, de worming and microchipping for identification.

Platinum Paw, $500. Provides for the complete care for the mother and a litter of puppies/kittens, all vaccinations, spay/neuter, flea treatment, de worming and microchipping for identification.

Guardian Angel, $1,000. Provides for emergency/specialized medical care, x-rays, surgery, critical care and long-term care.

Pet Pals
A Pet Pal is a virtual foster parent for an animal at PAWS Atlanta. For a $20 donation individuals will have your name featured below the animals online photo and description. Being a Pet Pal can be a one time occurrence, or until the animal finds a new forever home.
To be a Pet Pal, just follow this link. Under donation type designate Pet Pal, follow the rest of the simple prompts and be sure to include the name of the animal that you would like to be a Pet Pal to.
Bequests
Are you in the process of estate planning or drawing up a will? The animals at PAWS Atlanta are 100% reliant on donations and we will assist in this process however possible. Planned Giving/Taxes
There were some changes from a tax perspective, to the way that some folks can donate to non profit organizations from their IRA. With The Pension Protection Act of 2006 you can help the animals that need assistance at PAWS Atlanta and reduce your taxes. You can read all about the Pension Protection Act of 2006 here.

Wish someone a happy birthday, mark a special occasion or make a donation in honor of a special person.
In Memory of
Celebrate the life of a loved one through a donation that will help a homeless, adoptable pet. The family of your assignee will receive a letter acknowledging your contribution and word of your gift will appear in the PAWS Atlanta newsletter, Paw Prints.
Sponsor a special event
PAWS Atlanta has many special events annually. Thanks to our supporters, each of these special events will attract crowds of various demographics. This is an excellent, tax deductible way to donate to PAWS Atlanta and introduce your company to our supporters. $500,000 to underwrite the current programs that PAWS Atlanta offers
3 million dollars to build new facility that will enable PAWS Atlanta to assist more homeless cats and dogs. This new facility will include an isolation ward, administration, education facilities, communal space and a room for potential adopters.
